vivo’s Jia Jingdong has announced some key specs and photos of its upcoming tablet, the vivo Pad Air. This announcement comes several months after the company launched its flagship model, the vivo Pad2.
It is expected to be released later this month and is positioned as a more affordable option. The tablet features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870, which may not be as powerful as the Dimensity 9000 on the Pad2, but still packs a punch.
For the display, it spans 11.5-inch with 2.8K resolution and 144Hz adaptive refresh. It covers the DCI-P3 color gamut and uses 3:2 aspect ratio.
Despite the large 8500mAh battery, this’ll weigh even lighter at 530 grams (from 585 grams on the Pad2). And it gets paired with a 44W charging.
Furthermore, it runs OriginOS 3 optimized for tables, and supports vivo Pencil2 stylus.
Measuring at only 6.67mm, its build has a thin metallic body, frosty finish that negates fingerprints.
It will come available in colorful choices: Free Blue, Brave Pink, and Easy Silver.
That’s the gist for now, and we shall hear more about this new tablet in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates!
