vivo T3 Ultra Launched in India

Vivo has launched the T3 Ultra in India, packed with new features with improved performance, camera capabilities, and durability. First, the T3 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, a 4nm chipset. It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2800 x 1260 resolution, and an peak brightness of 4500 nits.

One of the standout features of the Vivo T3 Ultra is its 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The phone also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front camera with autofocus. The camera setup includes AI-driven enhancements like VCS Eye Autofocus, which locks onto a subject’s eyes for sharper portraits. Additionally, the camera supports 4K video recording with Hybrid Image Stabilization (OIS + EIS).

On the hardware side, the T3 Ultra has an IP68 rating, water and dust resistance. It can withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes. Vivo also elaborated that the device is also built for durability, having undergone extensive testing for drop resistance, button presses, and temperature extremes. The 4023 mm² vapor chamber cooling system keeps the device cool during heavy usage, such as gaming or multitasking. The battery is a large 5500mAh unit with 80W fast charging.

Vivo T3 Ultra also boasts enhanced drop resistance, using high-performance Schott AG glass, innovative adhesive materials, raised corners, and a widened support structure to absorb shocks. It is said it underwent tests such as 42,000 cycles for small drops and 10,000 plugging and unplugging simulations, ensuring its durability in real-world usage.

The T3 Ultra runs on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and features 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It supports dual 5G SIMs and comes with various connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, and USB-C.
