VIVO is set to launch a new smartphone in India with a pop-up camera in tow, and sources are noting that this may be the upcoming V15 Pro.
VIVO NEX
The successor to last year’s V11 features not only an in-display fingerprint scanner, but also a 32-megapixel front camera that can only be seen when it’s needed. The camera pops up on use, similar to how it was implemented with the VIVO NEX.
Earlier leaks suggest that the V15 Pro may feature a triple rear-camera setup, seeing how its supposed case is holed. The company has yet to confirm this information.
It’s not new to see VIVO’s designs and technologies arrive to the company’s popular mid-range series. We’ve had the V11 which features the in-display fingerprint scanner seen on the more expensive X21 last year. No additional information has been revealed yet, but we’ll see what the new device hides under its sleeve as the Indian launch is set on February 20.
