vivo has officially released the vivo V40 5G in the Philippines.
It gets a redesigned camera island at the rear, and now boasts a ZEISS moniker. This is a significant upgrade from last year, when only the vivo V30 Pro 5G 19 featured ZEISS tuning.
While that is the case, the V40’s cameras appear to be carry-overs from its predecessor, the vivo V30 5G. It retains a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, as well as 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
The chipset is also the same. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and comes with up to 512GB of internal storage paired with 12GB RAM.
Other notable changes include a stronger IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and a bigger 5500mAh battery utilizing silicon-carbon tech.
