vivo X Flip and X Fold 2 debuted in China

After spotting the vivo X Fold 2 online, vivo has debuted not only the X Fold 2, but also vivo’s first clamshell foldable phone, the X Flip, in their event in China.

The vivo X Flip sports a 6.74-inch FHD+ AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate while having a 3.0-inch AMOLED cover screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the device comes with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The device has a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX866V OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide with a 32MP for its front camera. It has a battery capacity of 4,000mAh with 44W flash charging.

The vivo X Fold 2 sports a 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate while having a 6.53-inch AMOLED outer screen. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the device comes with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The device has a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX866V OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP portrait lens with a 32MP for its front camera. It has a battery capacity of 4,800mAh with 120W flash charging, and 50W wireless charging.

CNY 2,499.00 for the 8+128GB variant, CNY 2,799.00 for the 8+256GB model, CNY 3,099.00 for the 12+256GB combo, and CNY 3,399.00 for the 12+512GB version. The keyboard accessory costs an additional CNY 3,048.00, while the Pencil 2 goes for an additional CNY 2,948.00. For both the keyboard and the Pencil 2, it will cost you an additional CNY 3,497.00.

Prices for the vivo X Flip start at CNY 5,999.00 for the 256GB variant and CNY 6,699.00 for the 512GB model. The vivo X Fold 2 prices start at CNY 8,999.00 for the 256GB version while the 512GB variant starts at CNY 9999.00.

There’s no news on the arrival of these devices in the Philippines, but we’ll let you know once we know more.
