Vivo’s first local device featuring an in-display fingerprint scanner is finally launched in the Philippines. We first witnessed a demo of this brand new tech during CES 2018, in a prototype device that was soon revealed to be the X20 Plus UD. A few months after, the Vivo X21 was born.
As mentioned earlier, the X21 features a 6.28-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with in-display fingerprint scanning. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of internal storage, FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android Oreo 8.1, and a 3,200mAh battery.
Vivo chipped off a large portion of the device’s chin thanks to the in-display fingerprint scanner, although a notch is still present at the top to house the 12MP camera and a bunch of sensors. As for the rear cameras, we get dual 12MP + 5MP shooters.

Zielbert Ryle says:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with a price tag of 29.000? Nah!
Luhsya says:
Price tag of 30k, and yet still using MICRO USB. Seriously?
Can anyone confirm if Vivo is the one who invented the micro usb ? Lmao
Paul says:
Kinda odd that they have relatively low MP count for their front camera since they market the heck out of that in the V series.
Also micro-USB for a 30k phone in 2018? LOL
