vivo on Thursday has officially announced the latest additions to their flagship lineup: the vivo X80 and X80 Pro boasting the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, respectively.
Both new premium flagships are crafted in collaboration with ZEISS Optics imaging technology promising to deliver ‘superb camera capabilities’ including cinematic video shooting, superior night photography, and improved image stabilization.
Along with the vivo X80 series is the debut of vivo’s proprietary chip called the vivo V1+ designed to boost performance on imaging capabilities, display, and gaming department of the new flagships. The vivo V1+ will work hand in hand with the flagships’ primary CPU through a ‘dual-processing system’.
The vivo X80 fronts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 3D curve on the sides, a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W charging rate, and triple rear camera setup with a 50MP IMX866 main sensor.
