The vivo Y100 is launching in the Philippines this week on Shopee with a discounted price up to PHP 11,749.
The Y100 is an entry-level smartphone that sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a FHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution and 1200 nits of peak brightness.
It’s powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset with a configuration of 8GB RAM + 8GB extended RAM and 256GB of storage. However, storage is expandable via a microSD card slot.
For cameras, the phone has a 50MP main lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a flicker sensor. Up front, the phone has a 8MP selfie shooter.
In terms of audio, the device has stereo speakers with a 300% volume mode with Hi-Res Audio.
The Y100 has a large 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support (presumed to be FlashCharge). According to vivo, this can last up to 16.6 hours of YouTube streaming.
Additionally, the phone runs on Funtouch OS 14 (Android 14), and is available in Crystal Black and Breeze Green colorways.
The vivo Y100 will be available on Shopee for PHP 14,999 starting April 4, 2024. However, potential buyers with vouchers may grab the device for as low as PHP 11,749.
