Wacom is launching a new line of affordable drawing tablets that consists of four new drawing tablets on its Wacom One series.
First, there is the Wacom One Pen Display line with the Wacom One 12 and the Wacom One 13 Touch which both offer built-in screens.
Then there’s the Wacom One Pen Tablet line with the Wacom One Small (S) and the Wacom One Medium (M) which are traditional drawing tablets with no built-in screens.
The Wacom One S and M are the company’s new entry-level pen tablets that have 4K pressure sensitivity, tilt support, and is able to connect via either USB-C or Bluetooth.
The difference is simply in its size with the Wacom One S measuring about 6 x 3.7 inches while the Wacom One M is larger at 8.5 x 5.3 inches.
The Wacom One S 20 is priced at PHP 3,650 while the Wacom One M 13 is priced at PHP 6,760.
The Wacom One 12 and One 13 Touch feature built-in displays with the Wacom One 12 measuring 11.6 inches and the Wacom One 13 Touch having a 13.3-inch display. Both will feature a Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080.
They also feature two USB-C ports, a paper-like display surface, a battery-free pen, and support for third-party compatible pens.
However, Wacom’s 10-finger multitouch gesture technology will only be available on the Wacom One 13 Touch only, meaning only it will be able to have support for hand movements like pinching or swiping while the rest will need to use the stylus only when navigating. This feature is also able to be disabled on the Wacom One 13 Touch.
The Wacom One 12 17 is priced at PHP 18,600 for the tablet itself while the Wacom One 13 Touch 28 is priced at PHP 31,000.
All four Wacom One drawing tablets will have support for multiple operating systems such as Windows, Android, ChromeOS, and macOS and can be used just a USB-C cable for connecting.
The battery-free stylus that comes with each Wacom One drawing tablet is available in several colors with either white or black for the top and with a colorful selection for the base. It also comes with 2 programmable pen buttons for shortcuts.
The stylus for all drawing tablets will be needed to be purchased together with the tablet and costs PHP 1,250 for the top and PHP 690 for the base, totaling PHP 1,940 for the stylus altogether.
All Wacom One drawing tablets will also have support for compatible third-party pens such as those from Lamy, Staedtler, and Dr.Grip.
There will also be optional accessories such as cables, power adapters, stands, covers, and a carry case available for an added cost.
