X/ Twitter adds Premium+, Basic subscription tiers: Start at ₱165/month

X, the social media giant formerly known as Twitter, has two new subscription tiers: Basic and Premium+. These additions join the pre-existing Premium plan, creating a range of options for users to choose from.

X Basic Plan

Starting with the cheapest option, Basic is priced at PHP 165USD 3INR 238EUR 3CNY 20 per month. This tier provides access to most Premium features and enables two-factor authentication via SMS. Other perks include:

  • Edit post
  • Longer posts
  • Undo post
  • Post longer videos
  • Top Articles
  • Reader
  • Background video playback
  • Download videos
  • Small reply boost

Additionally, Basic offers:

  • SMS two-factor authentication
  • Encrypted direct messages

X Premium Plan

X Premium

Premium tier now becomes the middle option, priced at PHP 440USD 7INR 636EUR 7CNY 55 per month, giving users more features including the creator hub and the coveted blue checkmark, as well as half the ads shown on the For You and Following pages.

  • Get paid to post
  • Creator Subscriptions
  • X Pro (web only)
  • Media Studio (web only)
  • Analytics (web only)
  • Checkmark
  • ID verification

X Premium Plus Plan

X Premium+

Now, for the most expensive tier, Premium+, it eliminates ads entirely and offers the largest reply boost in addition to all the Premium features.

All three tiers also include additional customization features, such as:

  • App icons
  • Bookmark folders
  • Customize navigation
  • Theme
  • Highlights tab
  • Hide your likes
  • Hide your subscriptions

Note that the mentioned subscription tiers are applicable to individual accounts. X has recently introduced these new tiers 39 on October 27, 2023, and the platform will soon provide an option to effortlessly upgrade or downgrade a user’s current subscription tier.

X advises those who are interested to consider waiting for the launch of this feature, ensuring a more seamless transition between tiers.
