Xiaomi has officially announced that its 13T series of smartphones will be unveiled globally on September 26. The company also indicated that the new phones are developed in collaboration with camera specialist Leica.
Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun confirmed via X that the 13T series is slated for a Berlin launch on the 26th of this month. He added that these smartphones are “co-engineered with Leica,” hinting at camera enhancements and specific features like unique color profiles.
Although the CEO didn’t provide further specifics, leaked information has given us some insights into the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro specifications.
Both phones are rumored to have shared features, including a 5,000mAh battery, a 144Hz OLED display, and IP68 water and dust resistance. The Pro version, however, is expected to boast superior specifications.
The 13T Pro is believed to be a reconfigured variant of the China-exclusive Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, featuring a Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, 120W fast charging, and storage options up to 1TB. On the other hand, the standard 13T is likely to come with a Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, 67W fast charging, and storage capacities up to 256GB.
