Xiaomi has launched a new pair of TWS earbuds at a lower price point, the Mi Air 2S TWS.
The Mi Air 2S TWS uses the new binaural synchronous transmission technology paired with an upgraded dual-core chipset to transmit sound to both the left and right earphones at the simultaneously. This reduces the sound latency while boosting the connection of the left and right earbuds. Moreover, the Mi Air 2S is also compatible with LHDC Bluetooth 5.0, which comes with a low latency mode to reduce sound delay further.
The Mi Air 2S’ biggest selling point, however, is its battery life. According to Xiaomi, the earbuds can provide users with up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge, and up to 24 hours when charged in the carrying case. The carrying case also supports wireless charging and only takes 2 hours to go from 0-100%.
The Mi Air 2S TWS is now available for pre-orders in China and will be available for purchase starting April 9. It’s priced at CNY 399 or around PHP 2,850.
