Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, Mi 8 Pro now official

Xiaomi recently revealed two new variants for its Mi 8 series– the Mi 8 Lite and the Mi 8 Pro.

The Mi 8 Lite sports a 6.26-inch 19:9 display with 2280 x 1080 resolution, Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 24MP front, and 3,350mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0 technology.

The Mi 8 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED display with 2248 x 1080 resolution, Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, dual 12MP rear cameras, 20MP front, and 3,400mAh battery with fast charging. Xiaomi also implemented an in-display fingerprint scanner technology which is similar to VIVO’s latest smartphones.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite starts at CNY1,399 (~Php11,040) while the Mi 8 Pro is priced at  CNY3,199 (~Php25,246) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and CNY3599 (~Php28,402) for the 8GB + 128GB variant.

    I believe that is only available on the Mi 8 Pro.


  2. Love the Twilight Gold color, but both Lite and Pro don’t have 3.5mm jacks :( The Pro has a USB type C to 3.5mm adapter, though.
