Xiaomi has globally launched its new portable projector for some cinema-like entertainment experience, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2.
This 1.3kg smart projector can support screen sizes of up to 120 inches with a standard resolution of 1920 x 1080. Additionally, it can support multi-angle auto-keystone correction across three axes and six directions when projecting and uses diffused eye reflection to disperse light into different directions instead of the traditional direct exposure you would see from LCD TVs. Its brightness is rated at 500ANSI lumens, has a throw ratio of 1:2:1, and uses four-channel LED Light with DLP technology.
The projector operates on Android TV, supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5, which allows users voice-activated function when the Google Assistant button is pressed on the remote. Furthermore, it supports one HDMI 2.0 port, one USB 2.0 and a single headphone port. For audio, it is equipped with two Dolby Audio decoded 5W speakers that adopt dual-channel virtual sound.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 is priced at EUR 599. There’s no word yet about their local pricing and availability, so stay tuned to our page for more updates.
