Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro to be launched on June 25

Just a little over a week ago Xiaomi introduced to the world a new pair of entry-level devices, the Redmi 6 and 6A. What they didn’t reveal though is that these two have another sibling, the Redmi 6 Pro. If the rumors are true, this will be Xiaomi’s first ever Redmi device with a notch.

The brand posted the official teaser photo of the launch on their Weibo profile. It’s even inspired by the currently ongoing FIFA World Cup, which has players lined up to represent the supposed specs of the Redmi 6 Pro. The official launch date is on June 25th and it seems that the device will be rocking a Snapdragon 625 chipset, a 4,000mAh battery, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

There’s currently a picture of a Xiaomi Redmi device with a notch circulating online, and people believe this to be the Redmi 6 Pro. Then again we can’t be too sure, we’ll just have to wait until the official launch on the 25th.

Honestly, it looks bad in white based from the images. I’ve seen the black one and it looks decent, albeit looking dull when compared to other notched smartphones.

Actually, the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, and Mi 8 Explorer Edition were the first Xiaomi devices to sport a notch. You probably meant the Redmi 6 Pro will be the first Redmi device from Xiaomi to have a notch.
