Xiaomi is on a roll this year as they yet again tease an upcoming Android One device. From the looks of it, this might be the Mi A2, if the brand will follow that type of naming scheme.
Xiaomi posted the official teaser on their twitter account with the tagline “Are you a big fan of #MiA1?” and the hashtag “#2isbetterthan1”, which further strengthens that this could be the Mi A2. Nothing else was revealed though so it’s just pretty much a barebones teaser. The Mi A1 was Xiaomi’s budget Android One contender for the latter half of 2017. It sports competitive specs for an affordable price tag and has been branded as one of the best Android One smartphone on the market.
It’ll be exciting to see what Xiaomi will offer with their next generation Android One device. Either way, there’s a launch event happening in Madrid on July 24, where we might be able to get more info.
