While ZTE has recently announced its new lineup of smartphones with the S30 series, it has also unveiled its latest wearable–the ZTE Watch GT.
The ZTE Watch GT sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED 2.5D curved display with a case material made of ultra-light aluminum alloy. It comes in various color options: Black, Gray, Orange, Yellow, and Blue.
Like other sports smartwatches, the ZTE Watch GT provides heart rate detection, blood oxygen detection, sleep detection, a remote camera, a smart reminder, and a step counter. However, it also champions up to 16 sports modes, including but not limited to outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor cycling, spinning, hiking, swimming, basketball, and football. Speaking of which, ZTE has also added special features to its football mode wherein users can track their playing positions in real-time as well as view a heat map of their most active areas on the field.
The ZTE Watch GT also comes with a built-in GPS and 5ATM water resistance.
Additionally, the smartwatch is also compatible with both Android and iOS. It displays real-time notifications of incoming calls, text messages, and We-Chat. It is powered by a 42mAh battery, which ZTE claims to last up to 15 days under normal usage and up to 23 days when placed on ultra-long battery life mode.
The ZTE Watch GT retails at CNY 599 in China. There’s no word yet about its availability outside China, so stay tuned.
