Blizzard has recently announced that Heroes of the Storm, a multiplayer online battle arena or as the company dubs as “Hero Brawler” that was launched last year, will be on open beta starting on May 20 (May 19 in the US) in line with its impending launch slated in June.
In addition to the game’s official release date, Blizzard stated on their blog post that there will be no further wipes from here on out and all your items, achievements and purchases will be carried over to open beta and the full version of the game.
The official unveiling of the game will be live streamed on June 1 in London (June 2 in the US). According to the game developer, the game will launch with “30 playable Heroes, over 130 Skins, 14 steadfast mounts, and 7 dynamic Battlegrounds.”
