Hi
how much would this be and where can i find one
thanks
dami ng chromebook ang lumabas pero kahit isa wala pang sale ang mga pc store dito sa atin kung meron man ay yung mga sa tao na galing ibang bansa na nakabili na.
You’re right, retailers are really pushing microsoft based PC dahil humina talaga benta ng laptops, but I hope they also do consider selling chromebooks..
this is a good buy..but i hope the OEMs also consider having 3g/4g modem module installed so you could also surf outdoors..para di na rin need mag tether or bumili ng pocket router.
Thanks johnny. Hindi pa ganun kadami ang apps. Pero generally OK na rin.
I went to Cyberzone the other week and i tried looking for Chromebooks, just to try them. These are common observations:
(1)Sales people doesn’t know what a chromebook is.
(2)There are no chromebooks of any brand available.
(3)There are available units but you have to order them and will be available after few days.
I just want to try them because it is very cheap and the hardware is at par with the PC laptops. These are my questions:
(1)what can we do with a chromebook if we are offline?
(2)Are there plenty of apps available?
(3)Can we install Linux or Windows with these machines without rooting the device?
These are my answers:
1)google.com
2)google.com
3)google.com
Because Easy F is being pretentious, here are the answers to your questions:
1-2. Chrome Store has a handful of apps that you can use offline. If you have Chrome, you can try check out the “For Your Desktop” and see what’s there to offer.
3. Since this is a netbook we’re talking about here, installing a new OS doesn’t require root. But it does require you to go into Developer Mode, a feature accessible in a few key stokes. So far, linux.com has tested it with ChrUbuntu and Bodhi.
Manong johnny san mo naman nakuha na netbook yan. Paki tingin nga ule nga display size kung pasok sa netbook yan.
Sino ngayon ‘pretentious’ saten. haha.
