Along with the new IDOL smartphones, Alcatel also announced the PLUS 10, the company’s first 2-in-1 slate powered by Microsoft’s Windows 10 with double batteries and LTE connectivity in tow.
The company touts this device to be 40% lighter than the average laptop, and boasts batteries both at the tablet and the keyboard dock clocked at a total of 8140mAh, touting to last up to 8 hours of work and play. It has three modes : a tablet-only mode, a laptop mode when docked to its keyboard, and a multimedia mode where the keyboard dock acts as a stand when viewing content.

The alcatel PLUS 10 is expected to arrive in select markets by June, donning metallic silver, matte white, matte volcano black and a unique gray leather finish colors. Pricing is yet to be announced.
