AMD launched a whole bunch of processors at CES 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. These are mobile processors built for different ranges.
The 2rd-Gen Ryzen 7 processors are built on a 12nm manufacturing technology. It delivers features like Wake on Voice, Modern Standby, smooth PC gaming, and 4K HDR Streaming capabilities. AMD boasts that it can edit media up to 29% faster than the Intel Core i7-8550U processor while the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U can load websites up to 14% faster than the Intel Core i5-8250U.
The Zen-based Athlon processor, on the other hand, is targeted for the budget segment.
