AMD launches Ryzen 7 3000-series, Athlon 300U, 7th-Gen A-series processors at CES 2019

AMD launched a whole bunch of processors at CES 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. These are mobile processors built for different ranges.

The 2rd-Gen Ryzen 7 processors are built on a 12nm manufacturing technology. It delivers features like Wake on Voice, Modern Standby, smooth PC gaming, and 4K HDR Streaming capabilities. AMD boasts that it can edit media up to 29% faster than the Intel Core i7-8550U processor while the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U can load websites up to 14% faster than the Intel Core i5-8250U.

The Zen-based Athlon processor, on the other hand, is targeted for the budget segment.

The 7th-Gen AMD A-Series processors promise to deliver fluid web browsing, social media, streaming, and web gaming.

The 2nd-Gen AMD Ryzen 7 mobile processors are expected to be available starting in Q1 2019 while the Athlon 300U will be available from global OEMs in early 2019.
