Prices of CPUs and GPUs have gone down significantly in the last 12 months, and we thought it’s just timely to build or upgrade to a new rig while the prices are low.
It’s even more enticing to build a PC now that we spotted a GPU maker that offers considerably more affordable graphics card than the popular ones.
So, without further ado, let’s jump right in with the build.

Details of the Build
This guide covers the AMD side of things and will only cost you about Php 30,000 unless price changes occur.
There’s the Ryzen 5 processor paired with a suitable graphics card—the GTX 1660 Super that CAN GAME for at least 1080p.
A fast M.2 NVMe SSD with 1TB HDD storage, and two 8GB RAM sticks (3200MHz) which are all equipped in a compatible Gigabyte 84 motherboard.
This build should also be a stunner with a good-looking case that supports ATX/ mATX mobo form factor. Not to mention, it is bundled with cooler fans already.

Processor + Motherboard
For the processor, we specifically have the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (Zen 2 architecture) with 6 cores and 12 threads running on 3.6GHz base clock speed that can be boosted up to 4.2GHz (65W TDP).
This item we spotted comes bundled with Gigabyte B450M-DS3H motherboard, so you don’t have to worry about the CPU compatibility.
Its form factor is micro ATX with four DDR4 RAM slots (3600MHz).
The boxed processor also comes with a wraith stealth CPU cooler which is a nice inclusion, and this CPU/mobo combo support Windows 11 if you’re thinking to get your hands on the latest OS from Microsoft 85. The bundle is available here 36.
Graphics Card
This one’s a shocker, but yes, you can get a brand new GTX 1660 Super with just under Php 9,000.
The brand AISURIX may be unfamiliar, but its online reviews can definitely tell that it is legit.
This graphics card supports 6GB GDDR6 (via PCIe 3.0) memory (125W TDP) and it’s absolutely fit for your gaming needs, at least on 1080p resolution. Grab this sweet GPU here 28.
RAM
This part is pretty straightforward and also flexible. As mentioned, this build comes with two 8GB DDR4 RAM (CL16 at 3200MHz) sticks of Kingston Fury Beast. So, the RAM in total will be 16GB which is more than enough to handle moderate to heavy load.
With the motherboard, you can also increase the RAM storage with up to 128GB on each slot however, increasing the memory speed won’t make much of a difference since it will be 3200MHz by default. Get a pair of RAM sticks here 10.
Boot Drive + Storage
For the OS drive or boot drive, utilizing the M.2 NVMe slot makes the more sense. There’s the 260GB SSD from Western Digital that achieves 2400MB/s sequential read and 900MB/s sequential write.
As for the storage, there’s the 1TB HDD from Western Digital that’s rated at 150MB/s transfer rate.
You can absolutely modify these parts based on your preference. The 240GB NVME SSD is available here 24 while the 1TB HDD is available here 33.
Power Supply (PSU)
For the power supply, there’s the FSP HYPER K 500W (80 Plus rated) which should be enough to power the whole system.
It comes with black cable wirings that makes your cable management more pleasing to the eyes. You may get this PSU here 85.
Chassis
Last but not the least is the system unit casing. This is purely subjective, but we find this bundle RAKK DULUS plus 3-in-1 kit of exhaust fans RGB lighting. The chassis bundle is available here.
There are cheaper alternatives out there, so we trust your judgment—not only on this one but for your whole PC building process.
You may get all of these parts online, but it is also advisable to refer to physical stores.
From my experience, I did fish out better deals in physical stores than those posted online, specifically the motherboard/ processor combo and other primary PC parts like the PSU.
Nonetheless, this guide only serves as a basis and does not impose you to get the aforementioned products per se.
