LG has started sending out invitations to the media for a simultaneous digital Press Conference happening on September 14, next week. Details are hazy and all we got is this silhouette of either a smartphone or a tablet.
This is what the new Optimus should look like:
We’re still speculating here but LG already announced the Optimus Pad last week during the IFA (the event in Berlin that I failed to attend) although without details on specs or pricing.
It is possible this global announcement would be it or that device in the teaser could point to another high-end Android smartphone (possibly way better than the LG Optimus Z). If that’s the case, this one could be running that NVidia Tegra 2 platform running a dual-core 1GHz processor.
We’ll just have to wait it out and see next week.
