AOC has introduced the 24B35H, a budget-friendly monitor that offers impressive features for its price point. The monitor is currently available in China for 399 yuan (PHP 3,150.28USD 55INR 4,733EUR 51CNY 399) after a subsidy on JD.com, with a standard retail price of 469 yuan (PHP 3,702.96USD 65INR 5,563EUR 60CNY 468).
The AOC 24B35H features a 23.8-inch Full HD (1080p) IPS panel, providing consistent color reproduction and wide 178-degree viewing angles. It has a native 100Hz refresh rate, which can be overclocked to 120Hz, offering smoother visuals compared to standard 60Hz displays. The monitor supports a 4ms GtG response time and includes Adaptive Sync technology to reduce screen tearing and input stutter, making it suitable for casual gaming.
AOC claims that the 24B35H comes factory-calibrated with an average Delta E below 2, ensuring accurate color representation out of the box. The monitor supports 8-bit color depth, has a static contrast ratio of 1300:1, and displays up to 16.7 million colors. Features like Clear Vision and HDR Mode further enhance visual quality, though the peak brightness is limited to 250 nits, which may affect HDR performance.
To promote eye comfort, the 24B35H includes flicker-free backlighting and low blue light modes. It also offers dark field control to improve visibility in darker scenes and provides 20 levels of Game Color adjustment for saturation fine-tuning.
The monitor supports tilt adjustments from -5° to 23° and is VESA mount compatible (100 x 100 mm). Connectivity options include HDMI and VGA ports. Weighing approximately 2.58 kg with the stand, the 24B35H is lightweight and has passed China’s energy efficiency certification.
With its combination of high refresh rate, color accuracy, and affordability, the AOC 24B35H presents a compelling option for users seeking a cost-effective monitor for everyday use and casual gaming.
