A lot of Apple products have already been given “Retina Displays” or simply really high resolution screens. Today, it’s the iMac‘s turn to get that treatment.
Apple is calling the new display on the 27-inch iMac a Retina 5K Display, mainly because the resolution is at 5210 x 2880 pixels, and crazily, it is at 5mm thin on the edges. It runs on a 3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 CPU that’s upgradable to 4GHz Core i7, and it also has Radeon R9 graphics, 8GB RAM & a 1TB fusion drive.
The 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K Display’s pricing starts at $2,499.
