Along with a brand new (PRODUCT)RED version of the iPhone 7, Apple also announced a new 9.7-inch iPad bound to replace its aging iPad Air 2.
The new iPad features the A9 chip which is surprising since they opted to use last year’s chips for a new model. Nonetheless, Apple’s current software elements for tablets such as multi-window features are still present.
Apple iPad 9.7 (2017) key specs:
9.7-inch Retina display @ 2048×1536, 264 ppi

Despite being relatively the newest of all the iPads in the current lineup, the new 9.7-inch model does carry an affordable price tag with some cutbacks — the display is not fully laminated, there’s no antireflective coating, and is a bit thicker and heavier compared to other models. The new Apple iPad 9.7 starts at 32GB internal storage for USD329 (roughly Php16,500) for WiFi only models, while cellular models start at USD459 or roughly Php23,000.
