ASUS FonePad locally launched, priced under Php15K

ASUS has officially launched the FonePad here in the Philippines with a price tag under Php15K.

To give you a quick recap, the ASUS FonePad was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona back in February. It has calling and texting capabilities in addition to its aluminum body, 7-inch WXGA IPS display, 3.15 MP rear camera, 1.2 MP front-facing, and 32GB of internal storage. Under the hood is an Intel Atom Z2460 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, and Android Jellybean.

The ASUS FonePad will come in two variants: a 32GB model with an SRP of Php14,995USD 256INR 21,662EUR 243CNY 1,861, and an 8GB model (1.2GHz Z2420 Intel Atom processor) with an SRP of Php11,995USD 204INR 17,328EUR 195CNY 1,489. Both variants will be available in the 4th week of May.
