ASUS has officially launched the FonePad here in the Philippines with a price tag under Php15K.
To give you a quick recap, the ASUS FonePad was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona back in February. It has calling and texting capabilities in addition to its aluminum body, 7-inch WXGA IPS display, 3.15 MP rear camera, 1.2 MP front-facing, and 32GB of internal storage. Under the hood is an Intel Atom Z2460 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, and Android Jellybean.

The ASUS FonePad will come in two variants: a 32GB model with an SRP of Php14,995, and an 8GB model (1.2GHz Z2420 Intel Atom processor) with an SRP of Php11,995. Both variants will be available in the 4th week of May.

Bro, fyi its an atom-based procie produced by intel. INTEL. Yup the corporation so it isnt slow IMO
It may be single core, but used to power up Netbooks few years back, sum it up, performance shouldn’t be a problem for Tablets or Phones.
Another “Must be Quad-Core” person, you people really need to be educated about processors that isn’t all about the “Cores”.

I rather have 16 hours of battery life in 3G time rather than just less than 12 for a quad-core that heats up like crazy.
Pricing’s just about fair I guess…..pero ang pinakahihintay ng lahat ay yung Nexus 7 ver 2.0 (possibly a 1080p + Snapdragon)
