The ZenPad C (Z170CG) isn’t the only 7-inch tablet that was present during the launch of ASUS ZenPads in the country. It shared the stage with its more feature-packed counterpart, the ASUS ZenPad 7.0 (Z370CG).
The Z370CG looks like a slightly wider and thicker ZenPad C. And by slight, we mean 2mm wider and 0.3mm thicker than its entry-level sibling which is barely noticeable even at close range.
The tablet’s Gorilla Glass-laden 7-inch WXGA display occupies most of the real estate at the front with a cluster of components at the top comprising of a sensor, secondary camera and an earpiece that also doubles as a front-mounted DTS Premium Sound loudspeaker.
The placement of the buttons and ports, as well as the rear camera on the ZenPad 7 follows the same layout of its meeker cousin – audio jack at the top, microUSB at the bottom and volume rocker on the right side neighbored by the power button.
Even the location of the Micro-SIM card slot and memory card slot are identical, but instead of tucked underneath a plastic flap, it can be accessed by removing the tablet’s rear cover.
Doing the heavy lifting for the ZenPad 7 is the new 64-bit Intel Atom x3- C3230 quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It’s the same setup found on the ZenPad C, albeit with lesser RAM.

For what it’s worth, we think that the Asus ZenPad 7.0 (Z370CG) is a more viable option compared to the ZenPad C. If your budget would allow that extra Php2,000 you’ll get a better display and loudspeaker, more pixel-packed cameras and twice the RAM capacity.
The ASUS ZenPad 7.0(Z370CG) is now available locally for Php7,995.
kung pde lng isoli at bawiin ung perang binayad ko para dito… nakakapagsisi ang tablet na ito… 2gb ram pero ang tindi mag-lag…napakalaking smooth nung luma kong acer tablet na 1gb ram lng (2yrs older than this zenpad 7.0 z370g). nakakapag sisi talaga. the only thing na maganda talaga s tab n ito e ung display. at ung sounds, kung naka poweramp ka tapos naka setup ng ayus ung audio manager ng tab then nakakabit sa good quality earphones..maganda sound quality. camera is ok, basta nasa maayus na spot ka. good for watching videos/movies but not good for gaming unless 4pics one word lang ang nilalaro mo. web browsing and facebook surfing is not an ease here (frequent lags). and this device easily heats up. lastly, malakas sa battery.
Zenpad z370cg worth P7995 has only ONE Sim Slot and ONE Micro SD slot. But still worth it for its price for having 2gb ram, 16gb internal memory, 8mp camera without flash and 2mp front camera. It’s not running smoothly and frequently hangs for 2 to 3 seconds.
This is a confusing article. The title, main body and pics are for the (Z370CG) model but the specs posted are for the (Z170CG). If you’re trying to compare both tablets, I think you should include both specs or simply stick with just one model if that is what you are featuring. For people like me who just skim on the key words, particularly the price, I had to go back and read again to understand it better. Just saying.
1024 BY 600 for P8K!!@^**@!7$%&
The specs shown with 1024×600 screen are for the Zenpad C 7.0 which costs 2000 pesos less than the Zenpad 7.0
Why do you give the ZenPad C specs one?
I’m interested in the accessories. Especially the power cover and how much it adds to the battery life. Looking forward to the review.
