Though not yet officially released in the Philippines, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with built-in 3G modem is listed on Asianic for Php32,995.
This is similar to the one we spotted at Accent Micro in MOA last month. This one has the built-in 3G modem in it, just like the MSI Wind U120 (SRP: Php28k).
The Dell Mini 10 3G has the same standard specs:
Intel ATOM Z530 1.6GHz
Mobile Intel US15W Express Chipset
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500
10-inch LED display @ 1024×600 pixels
GB DDR2 667MHz (up to 2GB max)
250GB SATA HDD
Dell Wireless 1397 802.11 b/g
Dell Bluetooth
Dell Wireless 5530 HSDPA 3.6Mbps Mobile Broadband Mini Card
1.3MP webcam
3 x USB 2.0
Come pre-installed with Windows XP Home. Weighs about 2.5lbs and the standard 3-cell (Li-Ion 2400mAh) battery is only rated for 2 and a half hours. (The model without the built-in 3G modem is only Php23,999)

manong says:
@yuga – 24k w/o 3g vs 33k w/ 3g difference is a marketing genius! booo!
ni hindi man lang wifi-n, hsdpa 7.2mbps saka 2mp webcam.. booo!
Eka says:
The price is too much for a netbook.
berkano says:
Why not buy a non-3g version and just pluck a cheapo USB from local telcos at less than 1k while offering about the same speeds? Sure it’s not as aesthetic as the internal one but the Php 9,000 difference seems overboard.
borgy says:
we had a promo in our office 2 wks ago. we could buy this model for 28.5k with a free smart bro plugit prepaid. it came with ubuntu linux though (not sure what version).
Abe Olandres says:
@neil – all review units are returned after a few weeks.
@manong – the model without the built-in 3G has a suggested retail price of Php23,999.
manong says:
that price is BS! i wonder who will buy that… dell isn’t even close in “pogi-points” to sony or toshiba… with the same OLD specs!
The Teknisyan says:
is this dell’s answer to the now emerging netbook market? :)
Nice… unit…
Neil says:
is that laptop sent to you for free for your review?
