Dell Inspiron Mini 10 3G priced at Php32,995

Though not yet officially released in the Philippines, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with built-in 3G modem is listed on Asianic for Php32,995.

This is similar to the one we spotted at Accent Micro in MOA last month. This one has the built-in 3G modem in it, just like the MSI Wind U120 (SRP: Php28k).

  1. first?

  2. is that laptop sent to you for free for your review?

  3. is this dell’s answer to the now emerging netbook market? :)

    Nice… unit…

  4. that price is BS! i wonder who will buy that… dell isn’t even close in “pogi-points” to sony or toshiba… with the same OLD specs!

  5. @neil – all review units are returned after a few weeks.

@manong – the model without the built-in 3G has a suggested retail price of Php23,999.

  6. we had a promo in our office 2 wks ago. we could buy this model for 28.5k with a free smart bro plugit prepaid. it came with ubuntu linux though (not sure what version).

  7. Why not buy a non-3g version and just pluck a cheapo USB from local telcos at less than 1k while offering about the same speeds? Sure it’s not as aesthetic as the internal one but the Php 9,000 difference seems overboard.

  8. The price is too much for a netbook.

  9. @yuga – 24k w/o 3g vs 33k w/ 3g difference is a marketing genius! booo!

ni hindi man lang wifi-n, hsdpa 7.2mbps saka 2mp webcam.. booo!

  10. 2 1/2 hours lang ang battery? Bitin.
