how much is the price of a brand new dell vostro v13?
Mr. Yuga sir, san po ito nabibili available po ba ita d2 stin?? ^_^ tnx
Dell Vostro and Latitude are sold/supported by the Corporate resellers of Dell. Not sure if they will sell this to the retail.
The Inspirons you see in the shops are through another distro.
The thing about this lappie is the battery. For a CULV proc, I was hoping for a 6-8hr of usage but it has been reported to have a shorter battery life than expected.
There are lots of viable alternatives from Acer, Asus, Lenovo. Acer is ok albeit C2S proc available here. Asus in the other hand has the SU7300 proc but is more expensive at 50k. Both is purported to run 8-10hrs before the battery dies (or at least, lets the unit hibernate).
Personally I would want a thin C2D CULV with stamina for 45k tops but that’s asking too much I believe :P
does dell have a service center sa pinas?
what happens if you encounter hardware issues/ warranty claims?
yun ang isang scary sa ibang american brands. they have very little support pag offshore. ayoko naman na pag nasira ang laptop ko, ipapaship sa pagkalayo layong lugar tapos weeks bago bumalik sa akin. sana kung may loaner…
I Just bought dell inspiron 1440 a week ago, its affordable and looks neat! I think dell is a good brand, a fresh alternative from the mainstream Asus/Acer/HP/Toshiba lappo’s
Nice, it’s a good bargain. Dell has always appealed to me other than Compaq and Lenovo.
matibay ba ang DELL. IBM kasi ang type kong lappy kaso kinain na sya ng lumobo.. ay lenovo pala..
I actually want one :) To hell with other netbooks hehe. My wife will approve…
Add to my wish list… Wish…
$449 -> Celeron with Ubuntu
$599 -> CULV with Windows 7 Home Prem
via Dell
It looks cool but I’m not sure if it’s worth it.
price is very ok!!!
ayos ito, kailan kaya lalabas sa pinas ito sir yuga?
Great move by Dell. Hopefully, there are no major issues because of the design. Baka may heating problems ito–it doesn’t look like it has a fan.
Still this is bound to make the least popular Dell line the most popular in no time.
