Acer is on a roll with new product announcements and one of them is the new VR-Ready Predator gaming notebook – the Predator 17 X.
The Acer Predator 17 X which promises desktop-grade performance. Like most gaming laptops, the 17 X has intimidating looks with glass-fiber construction, edgy angular design and red color accents.
Inside is a 17-inch 4K UHD IPS display, overclockable 6th-gen Intel Core i7-6820HK processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 GPU, 3 SATA in RAID 0 or PCIe NVMe SSD, USB-C Thunderbolt 3, RGB Backlit Keyboard, server-class Vapor Chamber with trip-fan cooling system, and Windows 10 Home.
The Predator 17 X is NVIDIA GeForce VR-Ready and compatible with VR devices from Oculus, HTC Vive, OSVR and StarVR. It will be available in North America in June starting at $2,799, and in China in May starting at 39,999 Yuan.
