it lags in most basic functions. Can’t do basic multi task for this laptop. Mostly hangs a little watching you tube compare to my 6 years ASUS X202E with celeron processor. Replaced HDD of the celeron with 120 GB SDD and is way better than this laptop.
I am using HP 15q-BW084AX Processor is become hot but it’s ok because it’s a 28nm chip fan work great. want to know Can I add SSD to this laptop?
Does it have an M.2 slot?
I can’t envision! That is to say, for what reason can’t makers supplant that 5400rpm HDD with 250GB SSD and simply include say P2,000 in the offering cost?
I thought by now SSD would be the standard storage. It’s 2018 and look at these laptops displayed at the malls — I just can’t imagine! I mean, why can’t manufacturers replace that 5400rpm HDD with 250GB SSD and just add say P2,000 in the selling price?
So you’ll have to spend more and void your warranty if you messed up changing the storage.
Even the amount of RAM of the unit sold here in PH are mostly 4GB but when you look at ebay, amazon or others it got 8GB and an SSD version. It’s kind of a marketing strategy for developing countries like us. Most pinoys will just buy it anyways and be happy.
SSD has existed as early as year 2000’s and the 1990’s. This SSD technology might even older than you, this information may even surprise you.
