Ever imagined how the HTC One (M8) would look like if it were bigger? Meet HP‘s answer: the Pro Slate line of tablets, made with the business-oriented in mind by offering an Android experience on 8 and 12 inch displays.
The two identical-looking tablets at different sizes both sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processors and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Both are also equipped with data protection powered by a suite of HP’s own software systems.
HP also gives its customers to expand their options and increase their productivity by bringing out a new writing tool called the Duet Pen, the first to use Qualcomm Snapdragon digital pen technology by digitizing everything the pen writes using either the tablet or a paper HP calls the Paper Folio. How does it pick up the paper writings? The writing motion and the sounds it produce are detected by four microphones attached to the body.
