Lenovo has finally rolled out Android Lollipop for its Yoga Tablet 2.
The Lonovo Yoga Tablet 2 was launched in the country in November of last year. It comes in 8-inch and 10.1-inch variants, and powered by an Intel Atom Processor Z3745 CPU and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Based on their upgrade matrix, the Yoga Tablet 2 is scheduled to receive the upgrade in July 2015. True to their word, it’s finally here.
According to the notification, the Lollipop upgrade will bring the following key features:
• Upgraded GMS app
• Upgraded UI style to blend with native Android design
• Remove SECUREit, added Security Center (domestic users), McAfee Security (international users)
• Dual desktop mode
• Changed theme style
If you have a Yoga Tablet 2 you can check for the upgrade by going to Settings –> About tablet –> System Update.
