Apparently, MSI has a joint venture plant set up with LG Electronics (LGE) in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province (China). The plant has a monthly capacity of 30,000 units and MSI also makes notebooks for IBM.

Price for the LG LX110 netbook is expected to start at $585 (or Php26,000).

    Hi there!

    I’m an avid reader of your blog. Just want to ask for your advice on the best mini notebook to buy? Can you please help me which one you recommend for 8″, 9″, etc. I’ve read your posts on the hp, asus, msi, blue etc, but lately there have been new entrants/models recently launched in the market. My main application for it is just for storage of photos, files, transferring mp3s to ipod, surfing the net wifi, just the basic stuff. I do lug around an office laptop Lenovo T61, but still want to have a notebook i can bring around when I travel. Is there a mini that’s similar to the T61 or something?

    Hope you could help me out. Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks in advance!

    Tei =)

    Well calvin, I’ll say konti lang bibili nyan. Note na kung P26000 ang cheapest variant nyan (lowest spec), slightly mas mahal yan sa MSI Wind cheapest variant. (starting price ng wind is P20000, although walang OS saka lower hard drive capacity ang wind).

    now why would you buy this one if it’s the same price as MSI? considering LG is new to the laptop game.
