Mac Pro appears on Apple PH Online Store for Php155k

The Apple PH Online Store just posted a listing for the Mac Pro but, unfortunately, the shipping date was pushed back to February 2014. Nevertheless, they already shared the prices of the two different variants.

The variants include the quad-core and 6-core Intel Xeon E5.

Here are the prices as indicated in the Apple PH Store:

3.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor
12GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC memory
Dual AMD FirePro D300 with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM each
256GB PCIe-based flash storage
Price: Php155,990USD 2,658INR 225,343EUR 2,532CNY 19,358

3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor
16GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC memory
Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each
256GB PCIe-based flash storage
Price: Php205,990USD 3,510INR 297,573EUR 3,343CNY 25,563

You can still configure these to add more power and capacity but that’s will cost you an arm and a leg. These are the suggested upgrades:

  2. 6-core Mac Pro is still cheaper than the first Macintosh when its price adjusted for inflation. hehe

    Good specs but overpriced.

    • It’s made in the US so expect higher prices.

  3. this isn’t really meant for consumer level of use

    still, it’s crazy expensive even from a business/professional perspective and would only be worth the money if it’s being used for doing something very specific that needs that kind of power

    i could only imagine the greedy Macboys from our government begging Abnoy to needlessly “upgrade” their computers
