Microsoft has finally made its new Surface Pro official at an event staged in Shanghai, China, touting an all-new chassis that made it lighter and thinner compared to its predecessor.
The new Surface Pro was able to achieve this engineering feat by integrating the SSD directly onto the motherboard, along with adding new components and designing it as a fanless device, achieving quieter operation and touts a better battery life compared to the Surface Pro 4.

The Microsoft Surface Pro will be offered in six different configurations featuring Intel’s m3, i5, and i7 processors, and is now up for pre-order starting at USD799 (Php39.6K before taxes and other fees) for the base variant bearing an Intel Core m3 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal solid storage. Worldwide shipment will begin June 15th, according to Microsoft.

Surface Pro is great but there’s always a decline on sales. Hope that the battery life is really good because for portable devices battery life is essential and it might give them boost in sales.
