Microsoft Surface 3: 10.8-inch slate running full Windows

Microsoft has just announced the Surface 3 – a 10.8-inch slate that is powered by an Intel Atom x7 quad-core CPU and runs full Windows, including desktop applications.

It will go on sale on May 5 at $499 for the 64GB / 2GB RAM / WiFi variant, and $599 for the 128GB / 4GB RAM / WiFi. Surface Pen is sold separately.

A 4G LTE model of the Surface 3 will also be available soon.

Good luck finding Surface 3 at nearly $499 here. There’s no Microsoft Store here in Philippines. Unless Villman sells it with huge added price at 30k+.

SURFACE 3 IS A THE SEQUEL TO SURFACE 2 RT BUT WITH FULL-BLOWN WINDOWS 8.1.

SURFACE 3 IS DIFFERENT FROM SURFACE PRO 3.

This one is true, finally an affordable windows tablet running full windows (not windows RT). This is very nice, looking forward for its release this coming May.
