MSI’s approach to a better gaming experience

During the MSI product demo here at CES in Las Vegas, the gaming company highlighted a lot of their own proprietary technology and processes to enhance the gaming experience of its users.

While most of the basic hardware platform are derived from industry partners such as Intel (for CPUs) and NVidia/AMD (GPUs), the assembly and optimization of these processing units into a fully working gaming system is where MSI is very good at.

MSI launches a plethora of gaming laptops into the market at CES 2017: GT83VR, GT73VR, GT72VR, GT62VR, GS73VR, GS63VR, GS43VR, GE72VR, GE62VR, GP62VR, GP72VR, GP62MVR, GP72/GP62 and GL72/GL62 series.

MSI’s Cooler Boost 4 features a twin fan design, each fan cooling the CPU and GPU respectively, will ensure your components and performance stays cool under pressure. What’s more are the thick copper heat pipes for optimal thermal management. And if you’re still not satisfied with the fans, don’t worry; you may activate our turbo fan boost, pretty much means injecting NOS gas into the fans, increasing its RPM and blasting those heat away.

As part of MSI focus on gaming, VR is a central part of this strategy. With the world’s first Nahimic VR with 7.1 sound provided exclusively on MSI gaming notebooks (on selected models), VR users can enjoy a better VR experience. Nahimic 2+ which will be available for all new gaming notebooks launched in CES, will support more features and higher compatibility for many VR games. It has refined profile interface and together with Nahimic VR by Nahimic 2+ technology with be optimized for HTC VIive kits in early 2017 soon.

As for their motherboards, they’ve also added the gaming rigs with RGB Mystic Light with new features such as M.2 SSDs (with M.2 Shield to protect from thermal throttling) and VR Boost to deliver smoother VR experience. The RGB Mystic Light can be easily customized and configured with a single click of a mouse. The Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard comes with Audio Boost 4 Pro and Nahimic 2.

MSI understands that gaming machines continue to improve as hardware manufacturers like Intel, NVidia and AMD produce newer CPUs and GPUs. How it will differentiate itself from other OEMs is by introducing optimizations and custom solutions to extend the features to bring about better gaming experience to its users.
