Neo Basic B3510 Dual-Core Netbook

Neo Philippines held a Christmas party for members of the media the other day and also introduced several new laptops including this 11.6-inch dual-core Neo Basic B3510.

Neo Basic B3150
11.6″ display @ 1366×768 pixels
Intel Atom D510 1.66GHz Dual-Core
Intel GMA 3150
2GB DDR3 RAM
320GB HDD
6-cell battery (up to 4 hours)
Webcam
Multi-card reader
Windows 7 Home Starter

This 12-inch netbook retails for only Php19,995USD 341INR 28,885EUR 325CNY 2,481 which makes it the best bang for the buck in its category (it’s actually the first 12-incher to be sold at under 20k and the first dual-core at under 20k as well so I think it’s a sweet deal). The Atom D510 is an old dual-core processor which was really meant for nettops. The newer dual-core Atom is the N550 which has a TDP of just 8.5 watts compared to the 13 watts on the D510.

  1. ayos na laptop ito. .dual core nah, . .wow. . .

  2. i wonder why laptop makers are still sticking to the 6-cell battery? Is it that costly/hard to provide 9 or 12-cell batteries?

I just don’t get it. Most laptops today have the iCore series and these power-consuming GPU’s but you can only use them for maximum of 2-3hrs under max settings! How productive.

  3. @garz – I think the game is not about expanding battery capacity but lowering battery consumption of the system.

  7. San available to?

  8. Neo? Nevermind..

    Neo=Headache.

    IMO

  9. How so? No support?

  10. poor aftersales support. check neo forums at tipidpc.com
