Neo Basic B3510 Dual-Core Netbook

Neo Philippines held a Christmas party for members of the media the other day and also introduced several new laptops including this 11.6-inch dual-core Neo Basic B3510.

Neo Basic B3150
11.6″ display @ 1366×768 pixels
Intel Atom D510 1.66GHz Dual-Core
Intel GMA 3150
2GB DDR3 RAM
320GB HDD
6-cell battery (up to 4 hours)
Webcam
Multi-card reader
Windows 7 Home Starter

This 12-inch netbook retails for only Php19,995 which makes it the best bang for the buck in its category (it’s actually the first 12-incher to be sold at under 20k and the first dual-core at under 20k as well so I think it’s a sweet deal). The Atom D510 is an old dual-core processor which was really meant for nettops. The newer dual-core Atom is the N550 which has a TDP of just 8.5 watts compared to the 13 watts on the D510.

  2. kilotech says:

    sir reyronaldo contact info po?

  3. reyronaldo says:

Mahal talaga ang 9 or 12 cell battery. Ang mahal pre, how much more pa kaya yong 9-12 cells. If you want 9-12 cell batteries as a reserve, just contact me may kilala ako nagbebenta mura lang ranging P4T-P5T depende sa model. Sabi nya materials are made in Korea but packed in china. Nakabili ako last time ok naman at may warranty na 6-months. Puydi replace pag may problema.

  4. reyronaldo says:

patronize your own product pre. kayo naman oh parang di kayo mga pilipino. support our own product, nakakatulong ka sa bayan at sa lahat ng mga manggagawang pilipino.

  5. steam says:

joseph ok naman ang NEO ah, i had my NEO laptop for almost 3 yrs now and so far la naman akong naging problema and its still working fine. nasa pag-gamit at pag-aalaga lang yun!

  6. iCool says:

  7. Ayati says:

I hosted a website with ICOREHOSTING.COM it is very inconvenient for me that it was very expensive..then i heard about unlimitedgb.com i moved to them..it is very comfortable for me.

  8. michael agda says:

    mas mura pa e-machines netbook…

  9. papacologne says:

    @manong
i agree on what you’ve posted!

nice hunt and kudos to manong!

  10. papacologne says:

why is it that neo can’t put good graphics card to their laptops. if this netbook come with nvidia ion, i’ll buy this one…i always hate intel graphics because they suck big time peformance-wise.

this netbook should come with nvidia ion so that i can call this a good buy!

  11. tomdatcphi says:

if they incorporated optimus tech from nvidia, i wouldn’t hesitate to buy this.

  12. islacom willing willie says:

    Puro Negative comments.

Apple Macbook Air 64gb model nalang nga para wala away.

  13. RED says:

Still on Atom Processor? Wow ,very very basic…

  14. Joseph says:

poor aftersales support. check neo forums at tipidpc.com

  15. /m says:

    How so? No support?

  16. Joseph says:

    Neo? Nevermind..

    Neo=Headache.

    IMO

  17. gringo says:

    San available to?

  18. daniel says:

  21. Abe Olandres says:

@garz – I think the game is not about expanding battery capacity but lowering battery consumption of the system.

  22. garz says:

i wonder why laptop makers are still sticking to the 6-cell battery? Is it that costly/hard to provide 9 or 12-cell batteries?

I just don’t get it. Most laptops today have the iCore series and these power-consuming GPU’s but you can only use them for maximum of 2-3hrs under max settings! How productive.

  23. NemOry says:

ayos na laptop ito. .dual core nah, . .wow. . .
