Intel just unveiled its newest 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processors. It’ll be led by Intel’s fastest desktop processors, the Intel Core i9-13900K. With up to 24 cores, 32 threads, and blazing clock rates of up to 5.8 GHz, the new 13th Gen Intel Core family offers six new unlocked desktop CPUs for better gaming, streaming, and recording.
13th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processors
With cutting-edge technologies for improved performance and reliability, Intel is introducing the new Intel 700 Series chipset. 28 total lanes off the chipset are provided by eight additional PCIe Gen 4.0 and PCIe Gen 3.0 lanes, more USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20Gbps) ports for faster USB connectivity, and DMI Gen 4.0, which boosts chipset-to-CPU throughput for quick access to peripherals and networking.
Also being introduced by Intel is backward and forward compatibility. Benefit from the enhanced performance of the 13th generation Intel Core processor with motherboards that use the Intel 600 chipset.
