Reinner Gregorio says:
is this upgradable to Jelly Bean OS?
Ramon says:
Personally, I don’t think this isn’t worth it =X
The galaxy note has better specs for its size, and there’s the possibility of a 10in note being announced soon XD
Ramon says:
LOL double negatives… Sorry about that hahaha
Personally, I don’t think this is worth it.
Berkano says:
You have to remember that the 7 inchers from Samsung are priced ridiculously low (the wifi version anyway). The 30k Galaxy Note then should not be directly compared to it. Its real competition come to think of it is the Nexus 7. Hopefully ASUS prices the Nexus similarly or even lower :) For now, the Wifi Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (whew) is the best existing 7-inch tablet (better than the Kindle Fire)
Gerome says:
Does the wifi version have a capability to text and call?
noside_143 says:
Well in fairness. When the first galaxy tab p1000 came out it was sold for 21k – 23k. I think this time its priced a bit better…
Justin says:
To Samsung: Good luck going against the Nexus 7. My friend already purchased mine for $265 (16gb variant) in the US which I’m bringing home next month. Mahal pa rin talaga gadgets dito sa Pinas.
Jay Ar Juan says:
Wow I think the 7″ WiFi only tab is priced really good!
jison says:
Sir yuga, is this already available at samsung stores?
dr0idr@ge says:

Hi! i’ve been using sgt2 7.0 wifi p3110 for a couple of weeks now.. so far i am satisfied with my tab! for the price alone you get a great deal for a very good 7″ tablet.. my old sgt 7 p1010 was getting a lot of problems already and comparing the two,i must say it’s a very good upgrade!! i bought my sgt 7 p1010 a year ago for php14,995. by that time it was a great deal already.. so for me php12,990 is a good price point.. =) IMO a great device! sgt2 7.0 p3110 =) BTW @noside_143 the sgt p1000 first came out with an outrageous price of 36k
Eds says:
TFT? O_O
Rofus DelaCruz says:
Waiting for the Google Nexus 7 here in the Philippines and it’s price for me to decide which one should I buy. But still Nexus 7 is my priority and I already reviewed it and compared to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Nexus 7 is the winner.
ac7 says:
@vkss installing apps via sd card i haven’t tried it but i think it can work.. because we have tried wi-fi direct, same principle.. the apps is being send to my internal storage then install it,it works.. for mp3’s mp4 pdf..etc,it’s very easy to transfer, easy as 1 2 3 =) HTH
jdGONEMAD says:
i thought Samsung Tabs have cellphone capabilities such as call and send sms? wala na ba sa tab 2?
hyprmanic says:
the nexus 7 still trumps this device, although i’ll have to agree that the screen looks better though. we’ll see. will wait for the local release of the nexus 7 before i do anything rash… since the offer does look very tempting.
Kit says:
Nothing really special about this tab. In my opinion the GTP6200 (GT 7.0 plus) is way better, tapos almost the same price lang. So if I were you, I’d rather grab the 7.0plus which sports a 1.2ghz vs 1.0ghz of this tab. It’s around 17k (17,400 i think) while this is 16,990. Konti na lang for a better tab :)
just saying, pero “lowend” tab naman to so okay lang din naman :D
ekchj says:
ewan ko ba sa pricing na yan. la na man kameng makitang ganun na price d2 sa cebu. lowest is 19,999 for galaxy tab 7. laki ng patak.
benchbrat87 says:
between Galaxy Tab 2 vs. Galaxy Tab 7plus, which do you prefer?
Rogie says:
Sir Yuga, Ang galaxy tab 2 7.0 p3110 version capable of texting/calling? Some say “no”. PLease confirm. Thank you :)
benchbrat87 says:
I just bought my GT2 7.0 16GB 3G+WiFi in CellBoy SM Molino for PhP15K++
WiFi connection is sometimes delayed, i.e. it takes a looooong time to connect to WiFi. I sometimes need to re-initialize the WiFi connection a couple of times before I get connected.
Another problem is the Flash-less support. Though I found a solution for this, it sucks that ICS does not support Flash. :(
Overall, this is a better buy for me rather than buying IPad.
Rob says:
Just bought mine last Thursday, got a 8gb version WIFI for only 11k+ at Wellcom. So far, it has not disappointed me. Been downloading games, music and videos and productivity wise, the calendar and office viewer work great!
techboy says:
if you don’t look at the brand, which is better galaxy tab 2 7.0 or ainol novo 7 aurora II?
