Samsung Mobile Philippines has recently announced that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Tab S 10.5 are now up for pre-order and the company, together with Ensogo, is giving away generous freebies (worth almost Php6k) for early birds who will get any of the tablets during the pre-order period.
The smaller of the two, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, retails for Php24,990USD 426INR 36,101EUR 406CNY 3,101 while its big brother will set you back Php29,990USD 511INR 43,324EUR 487CNY 3,722. With these prices, it makes a lot more sense to grab the Tab Pro 8.4. It has a better GPU, an LCD screen which is still one of the best, and is 7k cheaper.
In fact, you can even get one 10k cheaper if you know where to look and you don’t mind shop warranties.

lol, the Tab S has 3 GB of RAM (LTE version) while the tabpro 8.4 only has 2 GB
IMHO super amoled displays are better than LCD ones bec I do a lot of reading rather than playing games / watching movies and the great color is a great plus for me

Thanks for the tip, Ronnie! I’ve been waiting for this… bought it right away. Claimed mine on the 17th, and I’ve been having a blast using it. The screen is just simply crisp even if you push the settings near 0.
Book cover, powerbank and bluetooth headset are not yet available. For pick up next week pa daw.
