Suzuki Neutron 1003 QNi: Cheapest PineTrail

Haven’t really encountered Suzuki netbooks before but looks like it’s been selling in PC Gilmore for some time now. This Neutron 1003 QNi model could probably be the cheapest Atom Pine Trail unit selling locally.

Suzuki Neutron 1003 QNi
10.2″ display screen @ 1024×600 pixels
Intel Atom N450 @ 1.66GHz
2GB DDR2 RAM
320GB HDD
WiFi 802.11 b/g
Bluetooth 2.1 w/ EDR
1.3MP webcam
3-1in-1 card reader

The Li-Polymer battery promises up to 5 hours on a single charge. Not sure about the OS but I guess it doesn’t have any at the price of Php16,895USD 288INR 24,407EUR 274CNY 2,097.

  1. It’s a good deal, IMO. I mean, the buyer could just purchase ( or acquire :P ) his own preferred OS anyway.

  2. the rapid transition of that image is both enthralling and headache inducing…

    :(

  3. actually i saw the suzuki brand during the consumer electronics expo last year nung nasa korea ka. i just forgot to write about it. hehe. pero that was also the price of their netbooks last year before pine trail.

  4. Sir Abe,

Any idea if the manufacturer is the same one making motorcycles? If so, then it may be a quality product. Just my two cents.

  5. +1 on Mike’s question. Is it form the same company that makes motorcycles?

This is the first time I’ve heard of this brand name on a netbook.

  6. well, most corporations (group of companies) are known for their best products…

and based on their track record (not to mention 1 yr warranty), i think this could be a solid product.

anyway, samsung is also into shipbuilding, construction, etc…

but if it is a SM BONUS netbook, i think i’ll pass… hehehe!

  7. @manong – nice one hehehe. :D

  8. I wonder if this is really made in Japan.

  9. Reminds me of Neo Basic B3230! http://www.neo.com.ph/products_basic_b3230.aspx

    Or is it a rebrand?

  10. wow! that’s a cool netbook! that’s one of gadgets included in my wish list. I hope i could have one coz the laptop i’m currently using is heavy. I’d rather buy new one that’s really handy and the battery would last up to 9 hours.

Please give me a link to a netbook that lasts for 9 hours. Because that would be good if you are travelling long distances or the area has no electricity.

By the way, i’m thinking about blogging about Technology or recent gadgets but i do not have time to research all those things to be posted in the blog. So for the mean time, i stick to my Gaming Blog.

If you can give a link exchange or if i would be part of your blogroll, then that would be great!

  12. @manong

It’s TAIWAN not CHINA :) that’s one of my favorite quotes from Armageddon

    anyway,
it’s really nice if someone can confirm if it’s the same company doing the motorcycles :)

  13. for those that are asking whether this is the same company as the one making cars and motorcycles, i still don’t know. did some research on both companies and found out that this netbook came from a singapore based company, suzuki, pte. on the other hand the motorcycles and cars come from suzuki MOTORS, inc. which if japan-based. they might be affiliates of subsidiaries but that i can’t confirm. also as an additional info, suzuki, pte., the one who made this netbook also makes other PC peripherals, such as RAM and HDDs and they can be ordered online.

hope that clears up things. was itching to do some investigating.

  14. its a good feal.. ganda naman ah!…

  15. this is same with Neo Basic B3230

  16. still waiting for CDRKing to release their own netbook XD

  17. if there is only a toyota netbook to last 16 years just like my toyota corolla xl, I would grab one, by the way I’m still using my teenagers nokia 5110 and 3210.
