The iPod Gamepod 2006

Will this be the future of the iPod in 2006? Apple’s done with music, pictures and videos. Been there, done that — so, what’s next? An iPod Gamepod maybe?

Check this out.

Comes in black and titanium, nice smooth finish, faster processor for videos and games, bigger flash drives (say 16GB to 64GB?), wider screens and a bluetooth/WiFi remote control.

Looks amazing isn’t it? At least the concept is.

Check out the concept of the advanced media player iPlay here. Your ultimate media center at the palm of your hands. More juicy pictures ahead.

  1. Apple does not have any experience in the industry. It’d be like Microsoft releasing the Xbox without prior Windows gaming experience, without DX technology, without a gaming arm, without buying gaming development houses, and with a lot less money to lose. There might be room for 3 consoles (barely), but there is no room for a third major handheld. Videos and music, yes. Games that rival those of the PSP or DS? No.

  2. It’s a good thing I’m not a gadget girl or else I’ll freak out dahil wala na naman akong pera and I cannot afford this new iPod thing! hehe.

  3. holaa yo digo que este ipod es de lo mejor deberiande sacar esta vercion…
