Seen last week at the eHub store in Park Square 1 is the newer 10″ netbook from Toshiba, the NB200.
The design reminiscent of the HP Mini 2140 although a bit glossy/shiny on some parts (esp. at the rims of the display) with aluminum construction. Has a chiclet keyboard that is almost full-sized and spaced apart really well.
Although the specs are just similar to the standard ones (Atom N280, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, WiFi, XP) on most netbooks, the retail price of Php29,990 isn’t.
Toshiba claims that the 6-cell battery could last 9 long hours, much like the Asus EeePC 1000HE.
How much is the price now of TOSHIBA NB200-11T now in Philippine Peso?
I think the latest of the series a Toshiba NB250-10D which is priced much lower at just 13K.
Nice blog…
Btw, what is the current price now?
I want to buy one bcoz it is portable and Toshiba is one of the best brands of laptops…
Hey is this the nb205 like at laptopmag?
http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/toshiba-mini-nb-205.aspx?page=1 :D
this netbook goes with the fancy pants….
i saw the netbook at eHub too and i tell you, it looks deceiving… oh yah 9 hours of battery life, as long as wifi is turned off and 50% brightness on your LED screen…
plus the 29k price tag.. sure aint for students like me, i bet i can whoop this NB200 with my 20k Eee PC 1000HE…
if a guy who likes to impress, get the Eee PC 1008HA or 1005HA… slimmer and sexy… there calling it the MacBook Air of netbooks…
and, i will be purchasing a NB200 this month, for my MOM….HAHA
I saw this one as well in Complink at SM North Annex. I think this is still expensive. For that price, I could get a dual core laptop sans the size/form factor of course.
wify love this so much!
good thing i can get it here for a little over 22k
wow!!! up to nine hours of net surfing….. thats great for a netbook
Saw that same item last Friday night at EHub Park Square 1…
@yes, I posted that it was on sale at the CompLink website but this was the first one I saw a unit in the flesh and ready for the taking. ;)
you already featured this. i should know it. i read your blog religiously every single day. :)
yes, it looks splendid and i think this should compete wioth the asus s101 market.
