Aside from the dual-screen Libretto that I see a lot in stores, this one Toshiba netbook I saw was a rarity since it’s running on an NVidia Tegra 250 processor and Android 2.1 OS.
I could not make out the most of it but the the specs says 10.1″ screen, 1.0GHz Tegra 250 CPU, 512MB RAM, 16GB Flash storage and Android 2.1 OS. The price converts to about Php23,000.
It’s an interesting netbook and something I hope would eventually land in the Philippines. Did bought it since the keyboard layout is in Japanese.
Incidentally, right after I landed in Manila early this morning, I had to fly to Singapore today to attend a Toshiba event in Suntec City this afternoon. Unfortunately, it’s not about laptops but TVs. Will soon find out this evening.
ito ba yan?

b/g/n na ung lang.
7hours battery life.
pwede…
too expensive for an android OS, considering the limited capability.. why bother using a mobile OS in a netbook if u can use full-spec OS such a Win7 or LINUX??
parang hindi sya promising… wait nalang tayo kasi parang first gen pa ito… baka may mga probema pa.
The specs of a smartphone in a netbook’s body.
i dont like the way the hinge are designed. it looks cheap to me (the design lang ha). pero ok yung specs
review po sir abe….
Is that a windows 7 Tablet on the left?
Hmmm… seems like too expensive for its features… Not a wise buy.
wow, a laptop with an Android OS :D very interesting Yuga, and it costs the same as with other netbooks of its type :D
The point of HDD’s is that they are still way more cheaper than SSD’s. SSD’s future will only come if prices go down.
Nice, throw away those HDD’s, they’re not meant for netbook computing anyway. SSD’s are the future, more so if they’re automatically RAID-0’d.
