The Nexus 6P is the winner for this Camera Blind Test, winning 7 out of 12 polls.
Based on readers’ votes, the Nexus flagship is better than the Note 5 in Outdoor – General Shot, Outdoor – General Shot (2), Outdoor – Sunset, Outdoor – Night Lights, Outdoor – Night Lights (2), Indoor – Flash, and Video Quality. This shows that the 6P is a good imaging device overall even in low-light.
The Note 5, on the other hand, is good in Outdoor – Greens, Indoor – Close Up, Indoor – Details, Indoor – Low Light, and Outdoor – Close Up. It’s still a decent performer in low-light especially when it comes to details.

While the Nexus 6p produces terrific results, the tests don’t take into consideration the Camera launch speed and shutter speed. The Nexus 6p has a quick launch short cut(press power button twice), but the camera software is buggy (really frustrating at times) and slow to launch compared to the note 5. Focusing speed is slower too and shutter lag is more obvious than the Note 5.
