Canon has a new flagship and it’s the EOS-1D X Mark II. A full-frame DLSR that shoots up to 16 fps continuously and has 4K video recording.
The EOS-1D X Mark II has a new 20.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor and a Dual DIGIC 6+ Image Processors. It has a 61-point autofocus system that has 41 cross-type sensors w/ 24% larger coverage that its predecessor. It uses Canon’s Dual Pixel AF for high-speed focusing and an updated 360k-pixel RGB+IR sensor metering system. The camera has a native ISO of 100-51200 but can be maxed at 409600.

As mentioned earlier, it can do 16 fps of continuous shooting when everything is set and locked. While using auto exposure and predictive autofocus, it can only go as high as 14 fps. It can do 170 consecutive RAW images at 14 fps using the new image processor and shot-all-you-can depending on your memory capacity if you opt for JPEG instead. Video recording is impressive in 4K @ 60 fps or tone down to 1080p to get higher framerates @ 120 fps.
The EOS-1D X Mark II is going on sale for $5,999PHP 352,054INR 508,414EUR 5,713CNY 43,663 (roughly around Php287,000USD 4,890INR 414,600EUR 4,658CNY 35,617) for the body kit in April. There’s a bundle that comes with a 64GB CFast card and reader for an extra $300PHP 17,606INR 25,425EUR 286CNY 2,183.
